Just came back from my grandma's hse. Stayed overnight on Thursday. Anyway my interview at NYP was okay..there were like 4 ppl altogether i guess also going for the same interview. This shows how popular Nursing is..all of a sudden..well. i think i ate some of my words and in that moment during the interview..i could not really find words to say..arrghh..guess i was toooo nervous. The head of nursing was quite serious but she got like smile at me when i asked her a qns about cleaning corpses. I think she is a Christian cause she told me abt Jesus healing the sick. Yepx..will know the results in about 3 wks time. Right from the start..they told me that now Nursing is very competitive cause alot of ppl wanna join..but anyhows it is good enough that i can get a chance to be interviewed. No matter what the outcome will be..i have to be strong. Look ahead and do well for my maths. Ok..after the interview i went out with Shalini and we watched movies. It was real fun..tml will be super fun and kinda sad cause it is Shalu's farewell dinner. Anyway i got to go already. So God Bless!!

Tml is kinda like 'D' day...i am feeling anxious and excited at the same time. Yepx..don't know what to expect and stuff. I really really do want to be a nurse. Got to pray for wisdom and courage. Anyway today was okay. The doctor that was supposedly to be 'slow' was somehow fast today and i got to go back home at 5.30pm. Hahaha. Just found out that i will be wrkin whole day nxt wk except for thurs which is half day. This means that i cannot go airport to send Shalu off!!! Argghh..sighz. Did not have a good day today. First of all big aunty came and caused me to have horrible cramps until noon. I was like in pain that i did not do anything until lunch time. Just using the hot pack on my stomach and eating panadol. Sighz. Luckily after lunch the cramps subsided. But the hiccups came. So horrible!! Just hate it. Arrghh. Ok..got my computer back..all thanks to my Dad..haha.Anticipating for Thurs and Sat to come. Thurs as u all know..is my interview and Sat is the day i will meet Roanna they all for lunch and dinner would kinda be like a farewell dinner for Shalu with my classmate..sobx. Anyway met up with Geraldine at Bishan and bought Liza a birthday present..Liza..i hope u will like it. Then while i was in the bus..saw this woman just fall backwards when the bus was like turning..she practically fell to the ground. Ouch. I just don't understand why when ppl are standing in the bus..they are soo prone to falling or losing their balance. Is it because of the driver or are we just not able to balance properly. Oh well..it is qns that remains unanswered. Okay..i think i am boring myself already so i better stop writing. God Bless~!!

There is something wrong with my computer and all of my stuff is gone...mp3s..pictures..gone..arrgghh..so frustrating. Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZA!! Today I went to Church and after that went with my sis to OG. Bought a pair of shoes for myself and t-shirts for my sis b'dae present. Then i went to cut my hair..it is layered and thin!! Quite surprising that the hairdresser can make my hair from quite thick to thin. Yepz. Well the good thing now is that i don't have to tie my hair up anymore except for going to work. Okay..i just got the news. Shortlisted for NYP NURSING. INTERVIEW ON 29TH APR 10.20AM AT NYP. Oh boy!!..I am excited and kinda feeling scared at the moment. Yepx. Anyway sorry for not updating for 2 days..too tired to update cause everyday this wk i have to work whole day!! Arrghh..but never mind..i guess this is what having a job really means. Well..this Friday i have my sis b'day celebration to go to..so 5A2..SORRY..can't make it. But We can meet another day..when all of us are free..*cross fingers* Anyway u all heard abt the Nicoll Highway Road Collapse..so sad..this the road bus 16 always take to go to Kallang Ice Rink. Yesterday..all my collegues and ppl from other clinics were like glued to the TV. All shocked and surprised..then calling of the family members to avoid that road came in. Kinda sad to see a huge huge hole on the road. It is like an earthquake that happened all of a sudden. I guess Life is unpredictable these days. Ok..enuff said..tired to writing..somehow have a feeling that my legs are like hot..hopefully i will not have a fever...God Bless!!

Ok..yesterday's concert was the best ever!! Truly worth every cent cause they sang alot alot of songs and they interacted with all the fans too. I love Tony's performance cause he wore a bikini and a duck float and sang YMCA..hahaha..so cute..The rest are also very nice..i think i am going to buy the concert vcd. Well I met Michelle ho before the concert and we went to Far east and took some neoprints..then we went to Kallang for dinner. Saw Mei Xuan..she won the $129 tix ok..so lucky!! Anyway after our dinner at BK we went to the back of the stadium to look at the praying ceremony..oh ya saw Jason's Mom..haha..she waved at the fans. Then the praying ceremony was a serious one cause I say Tony's and everyone's elses faces..they did not really smiled. They just prayed and went back in. Yepx. After that we went to queue and while queuing..SETTV camera crew asked some of the ppl in front and at the back of Michelle and Me to like hold up placecards of this new Taiwan Idol Drama..RROYAL. It was soo funny...hopefully i did not appear on camera..The doors opened at 7.10 and all the fans rushed in to see the merchandise. Luckily Michelle and i were like the front few..so we got in first..saw some water bottles, pens, towels, flags, watches...but in the end we only bought the handphone accessory cause the situation was chaotic..all that pushing..Michelle and I can hardly breathe. We really had to squeeze our way out of the counter..i think i nearly got squashed. Then we went to our seats..the view from our seats were soo close and with the binoculars it was even closer. The concert lasted for 3 hrs. The atmosphere was soo high and i was singing along to the songs and waving my lightsticks..haha..it was really one of the best!! Simply enjoyed myself. Ok..i have to go now..God Bless!!

Today was supposedly my off day until one of the staff nurses called me at 7.52am. She said that one of my other collegue is sick so i need to take over her. So I went to the clinic at 9am..somehow managed to rush there with the help of my father..hehehe. Anyway i did not have a full breakfast only had two chocolate bars. Then..the doctor i was assisting had sooo many patients that i ended at 1.30pm..my stomach was soo filled with acid that i want to faint already. Hahaha. Luckily i didn't. Well..afternoon was much more relaxing cause it was a procedure of extracting some of the thyroid tissues. Pretty cool seeing inside the patients' throat. I think the most painful part is looking at the doctor injecting into the throat to take out some tissues. Well after the procedure the doctor let me see into the microscope cause he was looking at the glass slides stained with blood(thryoid tissues). It was really fun and i learned alot. Yepx..okies..i think i better sleep cause tml is full day..so God Bless!! Gd Nitez!!

I am back from Causeway Point. Went out with my aunt and grandma after my work and we ate at Jack's Place. Hahaha..it was super nice. Then we just walked ard and bought stuff...had to bring back this heavy plastic bag. So heavy that it was difficult to walk. Anyway i am back now. Tml is my off day again..so excited..meeting Roanna for lunch and maybe we will watch a movie. I am a movie freak! Oh wells..there is nothing i can do abt it..who asked all the nice nice movies to come out this year? Hehehe..Okies.. i want to read my magazines so God Bless!

Just came back from town with Shalini..walked ard Bugis and Orchard. We went mainly to kino and borders..haha. It was a fun trip and we also shared a Mag..haha..anyway i still can't help but feel sad that i am rejected from the school i am longing to get into. *Inner Thoughts*Sarah..u still have nxt year to try again. Yepx. Have to keep that in mind. Oh well..i got stuff to look forward to like 5566 concert, meeting with the recess gang, a second chance at O level Maths etc..So hopefully it will keep my mind of my failure. Yepx. Just came back from Church and Bras Basah. For Church today, the youth put up a mime performance and it was good. The Music was sad but nice. Too bad PowerWeb music don't have the song. Yepx..anyway after the service..lunch was provided and i ate soo much spring rolls and cake..feeling bloated now. Then it was off to Bras Basah. Saw Pamela my primary school fren and I bought one Red Lightstick. Have yet to buy another blue one. I also bought this Seventeen mag for only $1. It had Katie Holmes on the cover and the issue was Aug 1999. So long ago!! Well...it is for Shalini..I think i will go there nxt wk to see the rest of the mags. Sighz. A very interesting news..

Mexican Woman Performs Own Caesarian to Save Baby

LONDON (Reuters) - A woman in Mexico gave birth to a healthy baby boy after performing a Caesarian section on herself with a kitchen knife, doctors said Tuesday.

The unidentified 40-year-old woman, who lived in a rural area without electricity, running water or sanitation and was an eight-hour drive from the nearest hospital, performed the operation when she could not deliver the baby naturally. She had lost a previous baby due to labor complications.

"She took three small glasses of hard liquor and, using a kitchen knife, sliced her abdomen in three attempts ... and delivered a male infant that breathed immediately and cried," said Dr R.F. Valle, of the Dr. Manuel Velasco Suarez Hospital in San Pablo, Mexico. Valle recounted the event in a report in the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Before losing consciousness, the woman told one of her children to call a local nurse for help. After the nurse stitched the wound with a sewing needle and cotton thread, the mother and baby were transferred and treated by Valle and his colleagues at the nearest hospital.

"This case represents an unusual and extraordinary decision by a women in labor who, unable to deliver herself spontaneously, and with no medical help or resources, decided to perform a Caesarian section upon herself," Valle said.

Well i returned with bad news..my mom asked her collegue who went to NYP today and she said that nursing in nyp is very popular..hence chances to get in is slim...when i heard that..i felt sooooooooooooo sad and lost again. I really do hope to get in..results will come out end of april. Hopefully i will get good news cause i am very afraid to get another bad news. Sighz. Anyway the best thing to do now is for me to pray and seek God. Like the song goes..there will be miracles when u believe.. i guess this is true. Well tml will be Good Friday and for all believers it is a time when Jesus sacrificed his life for our sins. God is really good. Well..coming back..today my collegues and I celebrated one of the staff nurses b'day. She was touched and maybe abit surprised. Cake was okay. It had peanuts on it and was kinda hard to eat cause the peanut bits kept falling. I don't think i will want to eat it again. Hahaha..Oh well i have to go to the bathroom now so i will stop writing. Haha..so happy today. I am like on top of the world..Got my first oh..no..second paycheck today! Earned like 600 plus but because of the CPF..I only got 500 plus. Quite miserable..but at least it is better than nothing. Yepx.Anyway I can finally pay for my 5566 concert tix!! Hahaha..idol craziness has taken over me. Oh well i guess it can't be helped. Anyway i went out for lunch with Shalini today and we ate at HANS. Yummy. Then it was off to the Library for a while. Passed her some stuff and i had to go off to work. Work today was long. Finished at 6pm cause the doctor had soo many patients. 14 altogether. Okies..my eyes are droopy and i start wrk like at 8.30am to 5.30pm tml so Good Night and God Bless!! Bye!!

Yesterday was a very fun night. Went out with my family for dinner cause it was my grandma's b'day. We went to Jumbo Seafood restaurant to eat and it was delicious except for the frog legs..it was super gross can..haha. Then it was off to my auntie's hse to have cake. The cake too was yummy. What a nice night it was. Anyway today's work was kinda fast cause the doctor saw patients quite fast. Tml i work at 2.00pm..yipee!! Can sleep in late again...oh well..i am also trying out to qualify for the 5566 scholarship. People who are selected will be given a laptop by 5566 themselves during their concert..how cool is that? I am back from Suntec with Roanna. Saw 4 celebs(Cynthia Koh, Qi Yuwu, Terence Cao and this gal i have no idea what is her eng name) and they all look sooo nice in person! Esp Qi Yuwu..He was really very shuai(handsome) in person

..Haha..They were kinda like advertising for NKF and the 933 deejays were like auctioning off celebs stuff like posters, autographed stuff by F4 etc..there was also 5566 concert tix. This gal bid 195 calls and she got a pair of tix..by the way 1 call is $5.25. So u can imagine how much she paid for the normal price $148 per tix. If only i had alot alot of money..haha..oh welll.anyway i went to Hougang Mall today to pay my exam fees then it was to the library to borrow All American Girl and Sabrina the teenage witch. Met my mom there and we went to buy black jeans. It was only $15 and the original price was $49..so cheap!! Well after hougang mall i went over to Esplanade to borrow Ice Castle(a figure skating movie) and Ballet Shoes. However..it is DVD..and my hse does not have a DVD player..Arrgghh..luckily i will be going over to my grandma hse tml...so i can watch!! Yipee..!! Hahhaa.. Okies..i gtg now..want to watch Miss Singapore Universe. So cya!!

Wanted to go watch THE PRINCE AND ME with Shalini..but she can't make it..sighz..hey shalu..if u are up for a weekday night movie on Thurs(8 april) to watch The Prince and Me..tell me. If u can't then never mind. Now i don't really think that i will have many off days..but hopefully there will be one next next wk. I need a break! Yepx. My apologises for not updating yesterday...my dad was using the internet. Anyway HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!! It is the 1st of april already. Time passes sooo fast. Well..i asked my Clinic manager yesterday about my pay day and she says pay day is on the 7th of each month. Which means i will get my pay only on 7 april! So long....hahaa..but never mind..my o level exam fees will be paid by my mother. But still..it is like in 6 more days. Sighz. Anyway today i worked whole day and my morning was spent going thru and changing the Department code (GMD-->END)for alllllll the patients info(the whole year) for each doctor. I only did 3 doctors' patients and i was really getting very tired. Imagine typing END all the time. Luckily i was assisting the doctor in the afternoon so it was not all bad. Tml morning i will be doing the same thing again. Yepx..i am sooo tired now that i think i am going to stop writing. Oh ya..Republic Poly asked me to go for the Maths Test again....and again i am going to reject. Guess I will stick to my interest. Nursing. Oh ya..Carynn..did u receive the NYP package for Nursing?
