Just got back from driving..seriously all that thinking abt driving being easy is totally wrong..haiz. Got honked at once today by this impatient lorry driver. But other than that, i am getting used to the gear changing, going faster and braking properly..stalled the engine once though..hmmm. So it came to reverse..i cant seem to coordinate my legs properly cause when u wanna reverse u must press abit of the clutch, release and press again. This is something i need to practice alot more and my instructor was saying that reversing is such a basic thing and i cant get it. He also say i am a very very slow learner and at this rate i am going, i wont be able to pass..he is honest abt it and i appreciate his straighforwardness. I have to honestly say i am feeling abit discouraged to some extent cause as u all know driving is something i have wanted to do and now i just cant get it right. Btw this is my 5th lesson and i will be having my next lesson this thursday. I gotta learn learn learn.

Dinner at Laguna National Golf and Country Club's Pine Valley Restaurant with my family and my other cousins. Had yusheng..my 4th time having it.

Haha..the other food was pretty good

but i love the dessert the most. Mango pudding with milk and sago..Yummy..

Ate till i was so full and now i am still full. Haha.

Oh i also I realize that recently all my pics most of them are food! Lolz..yummy arent they. I am just a foodie and a girl with alot of cravings. Right now...i am craving for cupcakes!! Yes..jus had that yesterday and now i want more.

Chanced upon this gal's webby and i am so tempted to order some cupcakes from her. Haha.

Went to IKEA today with Roanna and Sonia..we all had yummy fish and chips..i think i shall have the meatballs nxt time i am there.

Haha..walked round the entire place and in the end i got a notebook and a photo-frame. Haha. We Had ice cream afterwards..i love their ice cream alots!

Took the shuttle bus to Tampines mall and we windowed shopped around century square and tampines mall. Ro headed over to her friend's bdae party and sonia and i went over to city hall. As it was raining super heavy, the two of us went to have tea at Raffles' City Gloria Jean's . They had super cute cupcakes so we had that and it was good i tell u.

Had strawberries and cream ice chocolate..it was pretty good. Yums.

Oh ya..we walked past Doughnut factory and goodness..the queue was long but the doughnuts smell really good. If the queue wasn't long i will go and buy already. Haiz. One day..one day.

Went over to Funan IT Mall cause sonia had to find a charger..and so apparently the person told her to go over to Wisma cause they will have it..and we went over to Wisma..haha. Finally sonia got the charger and we went ard window shopping..bought a top from Forever 21. Haha. We then saw abit of the Chingay Parade and there were alot alot of ppl gathered and apparently the trains were pretty empty so thank God. (:P )

By the time i got home it was 10 already..so now i am super tired so yepx i shall sleep soon...

P.S: Vivi..really hope to meet u up soon..u okay already now?

Was out with the gals Roanna and Sonia ytd..headed to Little India 1st cause Sonia wanted to get her eyebrows done and guess wat? I joined her and got my eyebrows threaded. Lolz. Really painful i was practically tearing. The end result was pretty okay..my brows are kinda neater now than before. After we had it done, we went to Vivocity bought tickets for the Just follow law movie. Had lunch at Food republic and it was my first time eating there. Haha. Very traditional looking. All of us had Hokkien Mee..it was really yummy!

Went over to Daiso and bought some stuff. The movie started at 2 and the show was really funny..saw Fann Wong in another light. Haha..Overall it wasnt a bad show but just that i didnt like the ending..Yepx. Go catch it and u will know what i mean. :P

Did some window shopping but didnt buy anything. Haha. Had a snack at Carls Jr..love their

Beef chilli cheese fries

and

Onion Rings..hahaha..it was 2x the size of BK's onion rings and it had real onion in it.

Anyways i better get ready..i'm going out with Sonia to IKEA and so concidental, IKEA sale starts today! How lucky can i get. Thank You Lord! Ice cream, hot dog, meatballs here i come. Lolz.

Met Wang Qiong, Lijun, Yiwei and her mom for lunch at Seoul Garden. Apparently, the place was pretty packed by tourists from tour grp. They look like they are from Taiwan or China. Thank God we got a place to sit. Then,when we wanted to get our food, there were so many of them crowding over and they all semm to be like rushing for the food like there isnt going to be any left and some even cut our queue..Hmmph. I wasnt really happy abt that. Anyhows we finally got to take what we wanted and started cooking and eating for like almost 2 hours? Haha.

Was sooo full but i had space for ice cream. Amazing isnt it? How i can have a 'second' stomach for dessert. Lolz. After eating, Yiwei and her mom went shopping by themselves while wq, lijun and i went to Bugis village to walk. Alot of the shops werent open sadly so there wasnt much to shop so we left after a while. Went over to Seiyu and i bought a spag top. Haha. Time to try and wear something different.

Speaking of different...jus if u didnt know..Britney Spears my fav celeb in the past shaved her hair. Amazing isnt it..I was pretty shocked when i saw the pics. Britney Britney pick urself up!!

Okies then i shall now go try the muffins i bought just now at Bugis basement. :p Yums yums.

New's Yr eve dinner:

Dinner was bought from NTUC..and all we had to do was just to heat the food. Fast and simple. The meal for 10 ppl included sea cucumber with mushroom, yam ring, chicken, gluttinous rice, mantou, veggie, fish. It was seriously filling plus the yam dessert with ginko nut. Yums. Haha.

New Year(today):

My new clothing from Forever 21. Haha. Anyways the first place my family went to was All Saints to 'see' my grandparents, granduncle and great grandma. Apparently there were alot of ppl there too. Saw Lydia..ahhaa. Surprised to see each other. Lolz.

Went over to my aunt's place for lunch and got ready for church. Church was at indoor stadium and it was packed. Sermon preached by Pastor Mark really opened my eyes to things..it was really interesting. Left abit early to go for Dinner at my other aunt's hse. My aunt cooked noodles, curry, fried prawns fritter, shark's fin soup and it was goood..really good. Haha. Had my fav fav yusheng. I never fail to always have that during new yr. Whenever my grandma used to make it for the past new yrs, i am the one who is always finishing it. Yea. I also got a taste of this wine and it tasted pretty good. It had fermented fruits in it soaked with whiskey and rum done by my uncle.

My dad drank till his face was red.. Haha. Then i told him "u drink until like that how to drive? Why not Let me drive" and he replied "like that even more dangerous". Hahaha. Had dessert later my aunt's chocolate cake and ice cream. I love it. So after i finished..all us heard a boom sound and apparently there was mini fireworks at this person's hse there i suppose. It went up into the sky but it wasnt that high. Like 3 storeys high? I wonder where they got it from. Really cool. My uncle then brought down the Zara clothes he had bought from Spain and my sis, auntie and i tried..it was like a fashion show...trying then showing the rest..Haha. I got new clothes to add into my wardrobe..yipees. Anyways, we decided to play sparklers so my cousins, sis, uncles, aunt and me walked to Pasir Ris park. Had alot of laughs taking pics and also playing with the sparklers. Went over to the beach for awhile. There were alot alot of Malay families there with tents and all. What a way to spend the holiday by the beach..watch the sunrise. Lolz.
It then made me realize that i miss rollerblading..abit out of point but ya..i wanna go rollerblading or cycling. Haha.

Headed back afterwards and walked past Jack Neo's hse..his hse from the outside look rather nice and simple.

So yea..that was pretty much how i spent the 1st day of new year today.

Today is New Year's eve and New year will be different this year..it wont be the same without my grandma's wonderful cooking..her yusheng and all. But well, i cant bring the dead to life and i am sure she is having a wonderful time up in heaven with God.
Anyways, My uncle ordered this meal or something from NTUC for our reunion dinner. I do hope it will be nice. Haha. So..1 week of attachment at IMH is over and i think i am beginning to understand how the patient's are like. I feel really sad for them not because of their illness but because they dont have a real home to go back to. They dont have Family support and it made me realize how important a family is. I really thank God for my family although conflicts are bound to arise. Yepx. Moving on..tml is new year day and i am waiting for ang baos. Hahaha. So money minded right? Hehe. Church tml starts at 4.30pm..and i will be goin over to my cousin's place after that for another round of reunion dinner. :P Then it is one week break!! Can rest and let my hair down for awhile before i need to rush my case study and start studying for my test when i go back to sch which so happens to be the last week of sch for me. Gosh..i will miss NYP so much! Haha.

IMH posting is so far okay..kinda getting used to the setting. The patients itself are really very different and interesting some sort as compared to the pts in TTSH. I miss school though alot..Cant wait to go back to school!

Anyways, its V day tml. Going anywhere special tml? Haha. I want to go for the cable car v day dinner. My sis's classmate will be goin tml with her bf..cool eh? Too bad i got no valentine. :X Haha. Wells those who will be going for a romantic dinner tml..have fun yea? Lolz.

Went to church in the morning and boy, was it packed in the overflow room. Haha. Message preached by Pastor Prince today was good.. i shall buy his cd next week cause i never finish listening to the sermon as my aunt sis had to leave early. :P Went over to the Roxy store at Raffles city and got a roxy bag shared between my sis and i . Really like it alot.

Anyways, my aunt had to go to work and my sis got to go for her meeting so my mom and i went over to Vivocity. Bought a top from Forever 21..yipees..thats my new yr clothing. Haha.

Tml i will be starting my attachment at IMH..i seriously wonder how the patients will be like. Abit scary cause i heard some hmm 'scary' stories from my friends. Pray that everything will be ok. Hehe. Kayes..i shall update tml if possible. God Bless!

Relationship seminar today was good. Met up with Charmaine and the two of us were the 1st few to be seated in the auditorium. Haha..we were early. The crowd soon came and the seminar started at abt 10 plus. Worship was 1st and followed by 1 hr plus of preaching by Pastor Chin. I was really anionted by the message. Not only did he talk about bgr, his past love experiences but most importantly he showed us how God love us and want the best for us.
"Dont live by our feelings but live by his leading"
After lunch, He then talked abt 6 things..

1. Pray to God abt getting involved into a relationship and commit it to him.
2. Do not rush into a relationship but let it happen for God's timing. Be Patient.
3. Dont get involved with a non-believer
4. Do not date to solve your problem of loneliness/to seek approval/run away from family problems.
5. Do not expect that you will be happy when u get into a relationship when you are unhappy right now.
6. Do not date someone because of looks/status. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Go for someone with character.

I have to say i have learned alot today. Charmaine too have learned from this seminar. Haha. After the preaching, there was tea time and it was question and area time..listened to the questions written by the youths and Pastor Chin and his wife answered them. The both of them really look so cute and apparently alike somehow. Hahaha. Anyways, The whole thing ended by 6. Rushed down to Pasir Ris after that for Yang's 21st bdae party. There wasnt any BBQ..the food was catered and it was pretty good. So i sat down with roro, geraldine, sonia, liney and we talked..ahhaa..took pics. Yang other friends, her relatives came soon after....anyways the interesting part was that we took a chunk of cream and smashed it over her. Haha..after that the 5 of us were on our toes cause anytime she would take 'revenge' on us. We ran as far as we could from the chalet when she was coming near..lolz. Really funny. She managed to catch hold of Pearline and smeared cream on her. Haha. But well later on all of us succumbed to yang's 'revenge'. All of our white shirts, hair was smeared with cream(pink) and abit of chocolate. Imagine that. We had to go home soon after and we took a cab back. Liney was with her bf and they took the bus. Yepx..that was pretty much abt today..i was really glad though that the 6 of us were able to gather together once again. Pics hopefully once if yang send it to me..i will post it up. I am planning to print that photo out already. haha.

Driving pretty much was ugh today..the instructor was saying at the rate i was going..i wont be able to make it..Arrgh.. Well the thing is..i still cant really master the gears and the clutch. Sometimes accidentally i release the clutch too early and the engine stalls. The instructor would then shake his head..haiz. This is my 4th lesson by the way and i really think i need more lessons to buck up. I really do hope to master the driving skill cause driving is something i have been dreaming about for years? Haha. Yepx.
The weekend is coming soon..so fast man. I'm going for this Relationship talk(Love Actually) on Sat with Charmaine and meeting the rest of the gals after that to attend Yang's bdae party. She is going to be 21 already!! Mine will be in months but the thought of it is pretty scary cause with a blink of an eye i will be at that adulthood stage..Gosh then comes "Jie, you Gotta find a boyfriend"..thats what my cousins are bugging me about. Lolz. They are really cute. :P

Celebrated for him at Macs after our last lesson. He was surprised by the cake all thanks to Jihan and Yuening. Sang him a birthday song and made him take out all 21 candles using his mouth. Haha. So funny.

He opened up his presents after we had a piece of the yummy coffee cake. :P We got for him 2 jeans and 3 shirts. Yepx.
