Wanted to ice skate today but arrgh..the rink was dominated by kids and pros. So crowded. omg. Sad..but i really do wanna go skating before i start work in July. So in the end, Amanda, Charmaine, Yh, Gen and I headed over to bugis and caught Shrek 3. Not too bad the show and the meaning to the show was pretty meaningful. After the show we went for some 'tea' and Charmaine and I headed to TTSH. Collected my academic transcript, looked thru the list and confirm where i was really going...helped my friends write down their cost centre cause right now they are all not in singapore. Gosh. I cant believe it..the day of work is coming really soon and i dont want the hols to end!! Then on that day to report we would have to wear the staff nurse uniform(the one with blue orchids) on it. Ahhh..i am no longer a student nurse already. Everything moving so fast but well the best thing i can do now is to enjoy the rest of my hols and take one day at a time.

Gosh.

So i met up with Joanna later at hougang where we bought dinner and came back to my hse. She is staying over. Haha.. Now it is coming to 3am and she is still watching the Mars vs Venus show on Mobtv. Lolz. As for me i just watched finish 200 pounds beauty on youtube. That show is nice and i love the songs that were sung. But after this show..i wonder is beauty everything?? Must u be beautiful/pretty then ppl will appreciate u and guys will notice u more?

Hmm..tats something to think about.

Met up with Amanda, Charmaine, Yung Hwui and Gen today for Sakura buffet..gosh ate till we were sooo full and bloated. But i have to admit though, the food was good for $22 nett. Too bad they didnt have my fav cream puff. Haiz. Anyways we left at ard 2 plus and guess wat when i was about to step out of the place, i slipped and fell. So embarrassing ok. Thankfully not many ppl were passing by. It was kinda the funniest thing today and it reminded me of the time i slipped and fell a flight of stairs at bishan mrt there with lots of ppl who were at the platform, in the train looking at me. I think that has got to be the most embarrassing thing i have experienced in my life. Funny..just thinking about it. Haha. Headed over to watch Pirates of the Caribbean..it is a really action packed show and it is pretty sweet too..Will and Elizabeth. The ending is pretty sad though cause the 2 newlyweds cant really be together . There was a hidden scene after the credits and thank God we stayed behind to catch it. It was really nice cause it showed her with her son and both of them were waiting for his return. I would love to watch it the 2nd time though. Haha.
Btw Orlando bloom is sooo cute! Haha.
Ice skating trip tml..woohoo. It has been a long time since i last stepped onto the ice. I also pray that it wont be so crowded.

Met up with mei nu wang qiong today..had lunch at Pepper Lunch and headed over to Far east for some window shopping. Haha. I bought a very cute notebook with the front saying ' Once upon a time' ...so fairytale-ish right. Haha..but now i have to figure out what i am going to do with it. Hmmm. So we walked round for a while and wq went into this travel agency to pay for her visa fee and then book her taiwan trip. Gosh. I so wanna go taiwan again. Haha..got lots more places i havent been to. Nxt time i tell myself..nxt time. :P Oh ya..wq is now a 'aunty' cause her brother's wife gave birth recently and gosh the baby boy is just soooo cute!! Saw the pics and a video of him. Goodness me. I miss the times when i was posted to KKH and got to carry those lil cute babies and even feed them. Ahhh..i so want a baby!! Haha.
But that gotta wait i suppose...the nxt 10 years?
We'll shall see.

Just got back from shopping with my cousin Abigail..we bought like 4 tops. Haha.

Yesterday was her birthday so we stayed over at Grand Copthorne Hotel. Had dinner at this Shanghai Restaurant and then we Visited Zouk which was just beside it. I went in with my uncle (Abigail's dad) and Abigail. It was her first time. Lolz. As it wasnt the peak time, we went over to Phuture for drinks then jus explored Zouk later. I like the design of both clubs. Nice. I love the chanderliers that were at Zouk. Stayed there for around 1 hr then we left at 10 plus. By then the crowd starting coming in. Overall it was a pretty nice experience at Zouk. Oh this cocktail drink called Tom collins is really nice..has that lime taste to it.

Oh ya..before i met my cousin for the hotel stay, i met up with Roanna, Pearline and Sonia..we went over to chinatown and booked our trip(Roanna, Liney, Geraldine and Me) to Genting. Sonia sadly cant join us..nxt time ok sonia nxt time. We paid $143 for it..and $8 insurance in case anything happen to us. I really pray not. :P So we will be going on the June 12th and coming back on the June 14th. Gosh..it has been a long time since i last visited Genting and plus i will be going with my sec sch besties. Haha.

Okies i think i wanna continue my craziness by watching Hana Kimi again so God Bless!

P.S: Btw dont u guys think that Wuzun is just sooo shuai? He's like the whole package every girl dreams to have. Hahaha.

Headed over to school today..read thru and borrowed some books all thanks to Christina my sec sch friend..haha. Btw I cant use my admin card to loan books already. How sad! So thankfully Christina who is now in Yr 1 let me use her account. Hehe. Btw now they can borrow up to 15 items. Gosh i do miss sch..my classmates, lectures, tutorials, maybe even the ICA presentations, the food.
Quite hard to believe that 3 yrs have come and gone and now it is hello working life goodbye student life.
Oh wells life still have to go on yea..
Kayes..it is back to watching this variety show on Youtube..wuzun is on. Lolz.
Btw i dont know why but the craze of 'liking' wuzun and hana kimi is coming back!!

Finally..i just watched finished the Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2. Haha. Finally right? The ending is so abrupt for the second one..cant wait for the 3rd one. Haha. Orlando bloom is really really cute.. :P.
Really tired now..it is already going to 2am. time to go and sleep. Tml i will be going back to NYP..gosh i miss school! Cant wait though. Haha. Nightex.

Went over to IKEA with Roro and Sonia. Had lunch at the cafe then we did some shopping. Got some boxes i seriously need to store my notes and all. Gosh i am in love with some of their showroom items..my kind of dream home. Seriously. *Starts dreaming* Lolz.
Oh ya...the TTSH HR contacted me asking me for a photocopy of my IC and then i asked:
Me: May i know whether my cost centre is out yet?
HR lady: Wait a moment...(then she gives me numbers)
Me: Ok..so may i know which dept is it?
HR lady: Oh..it is ED..
Me: Ok..thanks.
(Hangs up).
I then thought to myself..Emergency Dept...and i went into a frenzy. OMG. ED accepted me..i cant believe it. I was sooo shocked. I just didnt expect it cause ED sister was like saying previously not many will get into the dept and omg..i am being given a chance to be there.
Sarah the going to be Emergency Nurse..still abit hard to believe. Lolz.
But i really really thank God for him providing me with this chance to go there. I believe with all my heart that he has a plan for me and he has put me in ED for a reason. 3 yrs..and i am gonna do my best when i am there this July onwards.
Gosh..i still cant really think straight. The reality hasnt sunk in yet. Lolz. Shall go and take a bath now and watch Hana Kimi again. Miss my wu zun man. :p

Just came back not long ago from the girls night out with Shalini and Liza. Met them after my church service and oh ya guess wat i was soo muddle headed today i left behind my sermon notebook at the toilet there and when i went back to look for it..it is G.O.N.E. Whoever steals notebooks??? Haiz sad case. Lesson learned.
Moving along, had dinner with Liza and Sha at Siam Kitchen. We all had the buffet which consisted of 20 dishes for 19.90. The food came, we ate and we were sooo full we cant order anymore plus there was leftovers. Haha. Walked ard for a while and then we decided to go over to Clarke Quay to take photos and just look around. Lolz.
Took pics, walked round the cannery, saw the clinic..and gosh the price for Sex on the drip is $50!! Had ice cream at Haagen Daaz and it was good but ex. Headed back home cause it was already 10. Time flies!
Wells, Shalini will be leaving to Ireland till June 21st so sha, have a fun time yea. Take care and love ya lots. Cya when u are back!! By then vivi dearie will be back too!! Yippes.

Girl time with my fav girl Shalini today. Headed over to diney's hse to pass her the stuff shalini got for her and then we went to PS and caught NEXT. The movie is nice!! Action packed and pretty interesting too. Caught Spiderman 3 too on wed and i have to say it is reallly good too. The ending part is pretty sad though but thru it..it shows true friendship between MJ, Peter and Harry. Yepx.
Anyways, we talked abt lots of stuff today..(guys) really interesting and also abt Grey's Anatomy! Its the season finale already..goodness. Well i went over to Shalini's hse after all that walking ard at orchard and caught the 2nd last episode of Greys. Woohoo..my greys appetite is pretty much satisfied but i am so lookin forward to know what happens in the last episode. Haha.
Anyhow i dunno why but nowadays i am so attracted to desserts. I can go crazy over it..for example donuts. Lolz. Tried one at theTaka basement today and it kinda tasted like the one i had in Taiwan. Gosh. Somebody just stop me before i go anymore crazier. Hahaa.

The Lord answered my prayers today regarding my finance problem. Prudential sent me a letter saying $500 will be deposited into my acct which they already did. Woohoo. Plus CPF sent me a letter regarding the GST Offset package. I got $200! The money will be put into my acct on the 1 july onwards though. At least for now i dont have to worry abt money till my bond money comes in nxt sat. Praise the Lord. :)
Shalini will be coming back already on wed. Cant wait to meet up with her and jus bond together. Miss her tons man.
I will be watching Spiderman 3 with my friend tml...i really do hope it will be nice. Haha.

As promised here the details of my trip. (long entry ahead)

Day 1 :
Arrived at the airport at 6.15am and Jianhao, Yuening, Jo, Jihan and chris were there to send us off. Didnt really expect that they will come early in the morning but they did. Gen's bf too came . So we all had breakfast at Bk and soon after Amanda, Char , Gen and I had to go board our plane that leaves at 8.

We boarded the plane and i was really feeling excited cause it is my 1st trip on SIA and going on a holiday with my friends.

Plane took off..watched Music and Lyrics, Norbit, CSI NY.

Really nice and the food came.

Yums. The stewardess were pretty nice too and pretty. Haha. The whole jorney was 4hrs 20 mins and finally we reached Taipei.

Queued up for 20 mins plus just to pass immigration and guess wat after we passed thru, collected our bags, the driver who was supposed to come and bring us to the hotel wasnt there. Gosh. All of us were feeling abit lost and pissed in a way. Asked the info counter to help us call the agency there and no one answered. Amanda then called her mom and her mom contacted the singapore agent and they contacted the taiwan agency. Finally they(taiwan agent) answered the phone and contacted the airport info counter informing us that the driver will be coming soon. Goodness. All in all the total waiting time from the time we came out till the time we boarded the van it was ard 1 hrs plus.

Sight see along the way..lots of chinese and mountains and 7-11 stores..no kidding. They are everywhere. Reached our hotel finally and it is located pretty near Ximenting.

Rested for awhile and headed over there for our dinner and to explore.
Had our 1st dinner at this small cafe and we all ate chicken chop with rice and veggie. Tasted pretty good.

Walked ard ximen after that and gosh i saw this dounut shop called Mister Donut. I jus had to taste it so amanda and i bought 3.

Haha. There are alot alot of bags, shoes and clothes shop there. Saw some nice stuff but the prices are pretty much the same as compared to singapore. Bought a bag for roro and a pair of shoes. After all that shopping, we went to have snow ice which totally rocks and then walked back to the hotel and rested. :P

Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel cafe..simple fare. Just porridge and some ingredients, bread, orange juice. Not too bad lah. Haha. The tour guide came at ard 8 plus and he brought us ard Taipei area. Went up to Marty's Shrine where we saw the changing of guards,

Chiufen, wu fen pu this clothes wholesale place..tons of clothing shops. I bought 2 tops. Haha. Later on we went to Some handicraft place, mao princess where they sell those lingzhi, honey stuff. Headed over to the hot spring.

Changed into our swimsuit and dipped ourselves into 42 degress of hot spring water. Haha. It was pretty hot at first but after a while it became so relaxing and nice. Stayed for ard 15 mins and we went to shower. Met up with the guide later and he brought us to the last stop which is the Shilin Night Market. Ordered the famous chicken chop and it was goood and huge. Ordered other food and it was good.

Walked over to the night market exploring the shops and all. Its like pasa malam but times 3.

Walked till it was like 9 plus and we decided to go off. Took their MRT and their single ticket is soo cute..the shape of a coin.

Plus everyone stands on the right side of the escalator not like in singapore ppl stand on the left. Haha. well i wasnt really used to it so i kept standing over at the left side and amanda had to remind me. Lolz.

Day 3:
Visited the famous Taipei 101 and went up to the observatory area.

Really cool cause i can see a paranomic view of Taipei.

Stayed there for a while and we went over to New York New York for lunch. The shops in there had nothing much but they had Mister Donuts so i had one of that. Haha. Decided to try Cold Stone's ice cream afterwards which was jus located beside Mister Donut.

Gosh..we all fell in love with the ice cream there cause it was sooooo good. Had their strawberry banana signature creation. U know how they do it? They scooped the ice cream, brought it to this cold stone/slab or something..spilt abit of the ice cream into half, filled it nuts, crackers, chocolate, strawberry and mixed it up together like some kind of batter. Added a slice of banana later and the end result, it was really yummylicious. Why is Cold Stone not in singapore?? Lolz. After all that dessert, took a shuttle bus to the mrt station and we headed over to shilin again for some shopping and eating. For dinner, we had it at this cute themed restuarant that had toilet seats, basins as their table and food being served in a cute toilet bowl.

Haha. Really cute and unique. Walked ard somemore and we headed back.

Day 4:
Headed for lunch at ximenting at this Tamago Ya restuarant where they sell mainly eggs with rice in them.

Yummms! We then headed over to New York New York for somemore ice cream at Cold Stone. Hahaha. Went back to ximen to walk again and jus see whether there is any last min shopping we can do. :P
We really did alot of walking when we are in Taiwan.

Day 5:
Bought donuts from Mister Donuts to be brought back to singapore.

Walked ard for a while at ximen and we went back to the hotel cause we were broke..haha..so there wasnt much stuff we can buy. The tour guide came at 3pm and brought us to the airport.

As the guide didnt take our 300NT tip, we spend it on food. Haha. Boarded the plane and this time there were soo many shows i can choose from. Lolz. Watched Freedom writers and abit of Casino Royale. They had tv shows too but i didnt have the time to catch it.

Food was not too bad and there was haagen daaz ice cream too. After a 4 hr flight, the plane finally landed at changi airport and it feels soo good to be back home..seeing my family and all. Haha.

In conclusion..i really enjoyed the trip and all thanks to Amanda, Charmaine and Gennie who made it special. Haha. Girl time in a foreign country and we survived it for 5 days.

Great to be back home though i kinda miss the food and shopping at Taiwan. Haha. I shall upload the photos tml when i get the pics frm Amanda.

Its doughnut day today..haha. Roanna, Pearline and I was at Raffles city like at 1040 and we queued up at the doughnut factory. Apparently we werent the early ones cause when we reached there were like 7 ppl in front of us. So we waited and waited till it was 1220. Finally after the people in front got their 2 dozen doughnuts..we got our doughnuts. It was pretty hard choosing the flavours we want cause all seems to yummy! I only bought 1 dozen whereas Pearline got 2 dozen and Roanna got 3 dozen.

My box of doughnuts: Apple cinnamon, strawberry white heart, strawberry filling, spicy cheese, blueberry, hazelnut chocolate, white chocolate, glazed, orange white chocolate.

It was really good! Soft and delicious. Pretty much worth the 2 hours wait. Lolz

Sonia came soon after while we were getting our doughnut and we went over to Bugis village to walk and the three of them did express pedicure..while i did express manicure. Haha. It was really fun having girl time. Headed over to somerset and continued window shopping. Btw carrying 2 boxes of doughnuts is not really easy plus the box is pretty big..prone to get hit by people walking by. Oh ya..so funny..this lady at Bugis asked pearline," U got the doughnuts from here ah? On promotion?" Haha. I prob will go queue again when i am super free and in the mood. Lolz. Now..my craving for doughnuts from there is satsified. :)

Okies..i better go rest soon..gotta wake up early tml. Hehe.

I am not a fan of indian movies but this show..Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is really nice!! Story abt love in a family and the songs are not too bad too. Lolz.
Well..I am now halfway packing my bag and thankfully for amanda who told me what stuff she is bringing and that made me remember what i shld bring along. Haha. Thank God for friends!
Anyways msged my mom this morning and so far my relatives in penang are okay and not crying as much cause well, my great grandma has lived a good ripe age. Too bad i wont get a chance to see her for the last time cause i wont be in penang but thank God i saw her last year.

Today is my last day at ED..for some reason i was being pretty slow and blur today..maybe the happiness that the hols are coming just overwhelms me or because the ED sister interviewed/assessed me early in the morning. Haha. Then there were a group of SAF-going to be paramedic guys and it was their 1st day of attachment at the ED dept. Boy..some of them were just cute plus they are tall!! Lolz. Not bad eh..my last day and i got eye candies. Hehe. Anyhows after work, alll of us PRCP students went into sister room and passed her the chocolates we bought and a card. They were thankful and gave us a lil prep talk.
Overall this 6 weeks PRCP i have really learned alot from the staff..met some really great friends and saw quite alot of different cases. July on..i will be no longer a student..i will be officially a staff nurse. Wah..cant believe it. So surreal. Yepx.
So..after going to the HR dept to pass back my forms..i received a sms from my aunt which says that my great grandma jus passed away today. I was stunned for a moment but ya..she finally had peace after 95 yrs. I do feel pretty sad.. after all she did see me when i was young and our whole family visited her last yr. Then another shocker..my mom and my aunt decided to take a coach ride to Penang tonight. It was like so last minute lah. So anyways they took Grasslands coach and is now on their way there. I can go with them but they are coming back on tues morning which totally clashes with my Taiwan trip. Therefore i wont be able to see my mom till nxt sat when i get back.
Btw speaking of Taiwan..i havent even packed my luggage yet!! I have like 3 more days to pack. Gosh. I seriously pray i dont forget things on that day..check in is like at in the morning. I'm kinda anticipating already. Lolz.

Happy May Day everyone..

Day out with my family to AMK hub. Had lunch there and oh there is this yoghurt shop selling all sorts of yoghurt..it is good i tell u! Had the chocolate banana flavoured.yumms. Went down to the basement and bought doughnuts. Haha. Since i dont have the time now to queue for doughnuts at Doughnut Factory i will make do with Summer House Doughnuts. Lolz. Love their strawberry filling doughnuts though. My all time fav. Walked past Four seasons durian and as usual a long queue of ppl queuing up for the durian pancake. I shall try it one day at the off peak hour. But i have to rave abt their durian swiss roll. It rocks i tell ya. Haha. Really rich in durian and the cake itself is just so nice. Haha..i sound like i am such a foodie. Oh wells thats Sarah. :P

Persuaded my dad afterwards to drive to AMK ave 5 blk 608..for some authetic american food at Botak Jones. There are alot of ppl there but thank God we found seats.

As we had a pretty full lunch..my sis and i jus ordered apple pie and cajun chicken. The apple pie was good and so was the chicken..love the spicy fries and the coleslaw.

Gosh..ate till i am so full now..bloated.

Now i feel like sleeping already..lolz. Prob i will have a early rest today cause tml it is back to work.
