Day off today and i was glad i spent it with Sonia. Love her to bits man. Haha. Met her early as she wanna get her visa done. Went over to Tanjong Pagar and in that UK visa application place..we had our bags checked and ourselves checked too. Really tight security man. :P After that, we walked around CBD that area and it was pretty exciting cause we never walked that area before. Had lunch together at Lau Pa Sat and ooo they had this shop selling muffins, cupcakes and stuff. Got me pretty 'high'. Lolz. Bought this box of mini cuppies for $4. Yummy.
Went over to Bugis and started on this shopping spree that was pretty unintended. I bought 2 jeans, 2 tops, 2 shoes, 1 dress, 1 bag. Pretty much everything that i wanted and i am almost broke already. Haha. Anyways, the saying is true..when u expect something..it doesnt come but when u dont expect anything..it just appears. Why i said that is because on tues when Kevin and i went out..i was expecting to buy a nice bag and in the end..i went back empty handed but today i wasnt really expecting to get a bag and tada..it appears. And guess wat.. the bag i got is kinda one of a kind. Personally Designed by the shop owner.
Sonia too got shoes and a top but i bought much more stuff than her. Hahaha.
Oh ya..after our spree at Bugis village..we were approached by this 2 young guys and they started chatting us up blah blah asking us to do this survey. Acc to wat sonia say..they were flirting!! Lolz. Really funny the whole entire scene. They are from Prudential but wells too bad i already have a plan with them.
Left Bugis and headed over to Little India for eyebrow threading and indian food at Komala's. My second time eating there and it was still as good.
Today is indeed a fruitful day and the day i spent the most money!! Goodness.
No more shopping for me.
Its Back to work tml..i pray everything will be much better.

Hopefully can get it tml when i go shopping with sonia..and i do pray i have the mood for shopping. Dunno why lately the passion for shopping is depleting. Cant see any really nice nice bags/clothes around. Haiz. Shall jus walk tml and look around but not have any expectations.

Pay Day today!! Woopies

Work was crazy today..lack of staff..patients had their needs and of course i had to attend to them. Who wants a complain letter heading their way? Patient comes first anyways.
Gahh. I cant wait for my day off on Sat!!! Its Pay Day and i need to shop..have fun, relax with my very good company. :)
Had a sudden urge after i came back from work today so i baked my cupcakes( Banana Nutella ) today. Got pretty good comments from my family like it isnt too sweet..jus right..pretty moist etc. Haha. I'm Still improving. The next thing i wanna bake will be Apple Crumble. Bahaha.
But nothing i made beats this chocolate eclairs the doctors at ED got for us nurses..it is the most delicious eclair i have eaten so far.. Ate alot of it already. Haha. Apparently they say can get it below $100 for like 12 trays of it which is like a dozen in each tray. Will call them soon to enquire. Lolz.

The Love Post.
I never thought that i would ever get caught up in this relationship world but u appeared and took my 'heart' away. Being able to spend time with you is such a joy even though time is short due to different working schedules. But, i come to realize it is the quality and not quantity that counts. Ur teasing, ur cute facial expressions, ur jokes, ur encouragement, ur nice-to- lean-on shoulder are just so precious to me. I really thank God for bringing you into my life to experience another kind of love.
U are jus such a special and unique person to me.

18th Aug
Happy Birthday Geraldine and we also Celebrated Sonia's dearest birthday at her house in the evening. It was a all girls' private party which included me, roanna, yang, pearline, geraldine and 3 of sonia's MI friends.

Sonia will be leaving to UK soon and gosh we are all sure going to miss her but now it is not a time to talk about it. I dun wanna get emo and i am sure she does not want to for now. Wells i Shall meet her for another girly session soon.
Today
Charmaine and I became part of the New creation's medical ministry. For us we dont really have much to do unless there is a case like someone collapse or something but that rarely happens.
Sermon was gooood as usual and Pastor Prince wore a white coat today..something different. Lolz. Was telling charmaine..it will be nice if my future hubby will wear a white tux on the wedding day. Hahaha. *Snap out of my dreamland Sarah* And ya..we were also pretty much surronded by toddlers/babies during the service. Gosh they were jus sooo adorable!!

We had BBQ food and it was good..chicken, beef, kebabs, salad, corn. Ate till i was sooo full my tummy didnt feel too good after that. Haha. As usual it was girl time..gossiping, catching up. It has been a long time since we last met together.

Ooo..a very very happy thing happened to me today and that is i got a new phone!! Yes..Nokia N73 Music Edition. Its not the sony ericsson k810i i initally wanted but yay anyways. It has a 2GB memory card which yes..finally i can store more music/photos. My mom had to get a new plan and it was a good opportunity to get it so my parents got it for me. It costs $398. Hehe. Good bye Pink Moto Razar..hello Nokia N73!

2nd day of orientation and the most fun part of today was learning the IV venepuncture and cannulation. Why? Cause we all got to insert the IV plug for one another. It kinda started because of me as i wanted to have a feel of being cannulated. Quite a sadist huh. Lolz. So..I inserted for Chenchen and she inserted for me. Gosh..my hands were pretty much trembling..1st time inserting a plug for someone can be a pretty scary experience cause u are piercing through the skin and into the vein. 
Plus the pain when the needle passes thru the skin...its bearable no doubt but definetly a diff feeling as compared to having intra muscular injection.
It was truly a new experience and now i know how it feels like for the patient to go through the pain and having a plug on them.

Its back to working on the floor tml..i pray the bed situation will be much better. I also need tons of rest so thank God i am working PM shift tml. Can sleep!! But the bad thing is that i am sooo going to miss the fireworks. Haiz.
I am also feeling pretty sick..gosh. I dont wanna get sick! I really pray i can get better asap. Pray for me yea? :)

Had Orientation today so no need to work on the floor and apparently the docs and nurses are pretty supertitious about eating pau esp on shift. It was really funny anyways.
Met Roanna bestie up after work and we went to shop for presents. At the same time..i was already plannin my shopping list. Lolz. Woohoo..pay day is jus a week away. I need to pamper myself big time!! Haha.
Now..Being abit bored from reading up abt my CPR stuff for tml, i came up with "Sarah's resolutions/to do list".
. Be a good nurse
. Spend more time reading God's word
. Be a good gf/sister/cousin/friend
. Try and sleep early
. Lose weight! (I know u gals will kill me for this. Lolz)
. Open up an new savings account
. Have a supp card
. Abstain from eating too much sweet stuff esp donuts.
. Eat more veggies and fruits
. Budget my money
. Give my family a treat
. Go to the zoo/sentosa
. Sit on the cable car
. Get myself a new handphone

Gosh..my day off is coming to an end..its going to be another week of working. Church this morning by Pastor Prince was goood.. followed by breakfast snacks..like kaya toast and donuts..hahaha. Headed over to JB's Jusco and had another donut by Dunkin Donuts! Wells I think i am getting sick of them already. Seriously..enough donuts for me. So i must tell myself to abstain from donuts for the whole of this and nxt month. :P I must be disciplined.
Jusco apparently had alot of ppl today but i didnt do much shopping..Had tea at Secret Recipe and i totally heart the mango, chocolate banana cake , marble cheescake !! And it only cost like $2 plus here after conversion..it is such a deal!
Look at the cakes in the fridge! Yums.
Parents and aunt went for body/leg massages leaving my sis and i walking around Jusco and staying in the bookstore for almost 1 hr plus reading magazines. Haha. After they are done, we Had dinner and went back to Singapore. Oh ya..i also had Paparoti..the coffee bun which is a long ago craze that hit Singapore but died down soon after.
On our way back..I Thank God there wasnt a jam even though it was raining.
Now..i am feeling pretty irritated cause i got a case study to complete and i am halfway done..the internet webby are not helping which means i need to go to the library to borrow books!! I am on PM shift tml and morning on tues..gosh plus Wed is the dateline..goodness.

Finally 2 day offs after working straight for 10 days. Woohoo..relieved. Tml after church i will be heading over to JB with my family. Haha..it has been a long time since i last stepped into Jusco. Shall go there and try the dunkin donuts..and maybe my baskin and robbins! Haha.
Went out with Kevin today. Haha..he is just a fun/sweet guy to be with. :p Walked around suntec..played 2 games of bowling at Marina Sq. I had a lucky strike the 1st time i played but it downfalled soon after. He won me by almost 40 points for both games. Good huh. Lolz. Had lunch after that and we basically hung around esplanade that area..talking..crapping..admiring the wonderful singapore skyline..the ndp area..the breeze and being sheltered by trees. The place we sat at is like the perfect place to catch the fireworks which reminds me that i soo wanna go for the fireworks festival!! Just entered a contest to win tickets to stand at a very good spot to catch the fireworks..really praying that i will win. Hehe.
Kayes..Its time to start doing my case study. Presentation is on wed so.. God Bless!!

HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!
Had to work today but it wasnt that bad the patients and all. Will be working Am shift tml and after that it is 2 days break for me..woohoo..I need the break seriously!
Anyways i watched the NDP show just now and it wasnt that interesting as in the performance wise. Love the fireworks though..sooo nice! Wish i was there.. minus the huge crowd. Lolz. Maybe nxt time in the future i will book a hotel room and watch the fireworks from there. :P But for now..i jus have to squeeze..nxt wk there will be a fireworks festival coming up..cant wait for that. Hehe.

Orientation was cancelled today cause lack of staff and we were all deployed to wrk. It was pretty hectic today cause it seems like there are soo many patients coming in at the same time. Gosh..busy busy busy!
Went out to PS after wrk with Jocelyn and Wuyun. Jus hung around window shopping and we bought donuts..frm Missy Donuts. Haha..there was queue and arrghh the thing i dont like abt their system is that they are not like Krispy kreme, mister donut, Dunkin donut where their never-ending amount of donuts with alllll the entire flavours are presented in the display. Instead it is like u only see a certain amt of donuts there cause they havent make finish the rest. Anyways there are now 2 donut stores within dobhy ghaut vincity. One is e donuts at Le Meriden and the other Missy Donuts at PS basement 2. Well..my verdict..not too bad. I think i am immune to donuts already cause i cant seem to tell which ones are really nice. :P
Met up with Sheryldine and Carynn afterwards and we took a cab down to this clubhse at Ah Hood road..Shalini had her party at this function room and it was nice the place...quite a ideal place for a party. Her family came..and so did Liza, Pei and Katherine. It was jus the 6 of us. I have to say i had a good time..eating the indian food..and the yummy chocolate cake. I was like the greedy one. Hehe.

Today is jus exciting!! Chen Chen send me back to my aunt's place on her motorbike. Woohoo. It was jus a very wind blowing experience. She is a good rider so after a while..i didnt feel too scared to be the pillion rider. In fact i was pretty much enjoying it. Haha. I wld prob want to sit again. :P
Anyways guess wat i have to wrk on National Day!! Morning shift somemore but i guess it is good in a way cause i may jus be able to see the fireworks at night..if possible. And another thing..i will be wrking straight for 11 days before my next day off!! Goodness.

Happy Nurses Day!!
Walked over to cathay and we took neoprints..i shall scan it in soon and post it up. Hehe.
Went to work to listen to this talk and afterwards The 2 senior doctors from ED..catered food for all ED staff and it was good. Their chocolate cupcake is nice! Headed for department orientation soon after and was asked to go up to the 4th level where the Nurses' Day lunch was held. It was more food again and interestingly those high ranking ppl of TTSH like the director of nursing, doctors were the ones serving us food. Lolz.
Collected our gifts which included a bag..torch..nurses watch..ezlink card..umbrella..some discount coupons..magnet.
Met up with Carynn and Shalini for dinner at NYDC.
I love my mushroom ham baked rice and irish cream mudpie. Hehe..was feeling full after tat.
